It was good but you they need to help us understand more of the words and show us exactly where they are at all times instead of making us figure it out by the Longitude and Latitude. Still a great book.

Rated 5 of 5 of 5 by Madison Age: 13.5 years
I loved this book. I read it of my own free will since I have always been into 1700's Naval stuff. (Thank's to C.s. Forester's Horatio Hornblower saga.) Recently my friends and I did a play for history Fair about Captain Cook's final voyage and this was a nice prelude to what we did our progect on. I loved the lattitude and longitude info I also likeed the glossary even though I knrew what 85% of the terms meant. It was an awsome book and I recomenmd it to every one with the same interests as me.

Michael, Age 11-Stowaway is a great book. It is written like a journal and I kept forgetting that this was not Nicholas' real journal. Karen Hesse has great skill with this type of writing. I reccomend it for ages 10-18 and give it a 5 out of 5 rating. Great book!!!

I thought that the book was very interesting. The whole time you feel like you are right next to Nicholas Young who is a stowaway on the HMS Endevour captained by James Cook. I definetly recomend this book and I think that you will love it the whole time.

I have read many good books during my 11 years of life, but this is one of the best!!!!!!!!! It was very intriguing. There were lots of exciting parts in it. I would recommend this book for kids from age 9 to 15. If I had to read one book this would be it. I just finished a project on this book and it rocked for the project I had to do. Everybody should read this great book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
