I just finished this book today, for an English project. I got to choose to read it myself, however, if I were asked to read it again, I don't think I would say yes. I didn't think the book was bad, however, I also didn't think it was good. If it were any other Author, I would have probably said it was a good book, but I expect more from Stephen King. It just wasn't as scary as his old books were. However, it was well written, and did give lots of good information about what to do if you're ever lost in the woods.

this book sucked.. all it talks about is some stupid girl running around the woods looking for her mommy... it has no story line whatsoever... it seems like king just threw a bunch of random thoughts together and said hey, lets try to make a story out of this. well you failed, sorry.

I could not believe the sense of urgency I felt reading this book! This writer does such a marvelous job of building suspense and keeping you RIGHT THERE with the character. I read the book cover to cover in 2 days and was thinking about it when I WASN'T reading it! I thought it was his best work. He is a master!
