OH my gosh! I loved theis sequel so much more than Inkheart. I love how she made Farid kiss Meggie. That was like, the highest point of the book for me. I'm a huge romantic, and i lovedit. I almost cried when i thought Farid was dead, but then i thought, "Wait-Cornelia Funke wouldn't make Farid die, would she?" and then she did not disappoint me but i was SO crushed that she made Dustfinger die. I absolutley cannot wait for the next book!!!!!!! Also, I loved how she did a quote from the book "Skellig" because I read that book and it is the saddest book on the face of the planet and i cried buckets when i read it! Well thanks for writing this amazing story Ms. Funke! Your Faithful Reader, Lisa Martin

I think this book is the best out of the two. It has a lot of excitement and conflict and it is just a really awesome book. I truly can't wait to read the newest book (I am pretty sure it is called Inkdawn). I am just bummed it won't be out till 2008.

L O V E LOVED IT! the romance is what got me it was so like omg so did see that one coming. it was so right. farid and meggie were clearly ment to be. it was destiny. i ttly flipped out when he died i cried for 2 hours. even thogh i knew it would be ok every good story has romance reunited. my favorate part was when they kissed, "he kissed her full on the mouth....."

This book is so awesome i love it! Full of suspense, action and fantasy w/a twist of romance! Just as good if not better than the first but it DID drag at some points but it really made up for it later. The ending really drives me nuts but it gets me pumped 4 the 3rd one! This really is awesome!

(twelve years old) This book is stronger and more powerful than its predecessor and has a deeper meanings as well. It illustrates both the fact that every cloud can have its silver lining while also hinting darkly in the background that every alluring rose has its deathly spines. Never sure whether Meggie is lose in her dreamworld or in a nightmare, she wanders between fear and desire for the enchanting surprises dancing at the edges of her fingers. Truly a magnificent read and every bit an equal of Inkheart.
A bold, mesmerizing novel about the woman known as "Typhoid Mary," the first known healthy carrier of typhoid fever in the burgeoning metropolis of early twentieth century New York.
Z, the novel about the life of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald is at points charming and; like another reviewer, I kept thinking of the movie, "Midnight...
