I went to the bookstore to get a new book. I wanted something different. I found this book and fell in love with it. When I brought it home, I was so excited to read it. I really could not put it down. Page after page, I read and read. I have never read a book so fast. I liked it so much.
I really think every 8th or 9th grade girl should read this book. I am certain everyone one will enjoy it. Even if you are a picky reader (like me), I would say this is the book for you. Way to go Sally Gardner, youv'e written a great book indeed!

this book is very intriguing. i took me into a different world one million miles away. I cannot believe how someone can write such an excellent story where things kept on happening. it is not a story where one thing happens and the story is based on that event. it is a story where things just kept on happening. i loved this story and would definately recommend it for anyone else. i loved this book so much that i am now wriitng my own sequel to it. i do know that it could never be published, though with this i can find out what happens next in much detail, as i was left much bewildered after reading the last scentence in this book. i think this book is a must for every reader. definately buy this book, right now if you have not already.
