The City of Ember is the perfect book for anyone who likes mystery and/or suspense. I loved it from the mysterious beginning to the cliffhangrt ending, and recommend it to everyone between ten and fourteen.

This book was very mysterious but then very dramatic at the same time. In my opinion this book was well organized and the plot stayed the same.

I absolutely hated this book! it was the worst book that I've ever read and it was even worse than the Hobbit that they made me read in school. Just because I am saying this don't start thinking I'm stupid. I have a lot of favorite books and magazines and I'm in GT for everything in my school. I just think that Jeanne could have done a much better job. Heck! i found a few mistakes in there myself! NO IM JUST JOSHIN YA!!!! it was a really great book and i absolutely loved it!! I just have one question...How did you come up with such a good book by yourself?
