Spectacular, Excellent, Fascinating, and More
Ida B was an EXCELLENT book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started it yesterday and finished it yesterday. I can't believe I didn't read it before! My best friend Elise and my teacher, Mrs. Verhagen, told me that Ida B was a GREAT book and that I would really enjoy it. Well, I was lucky enought that there was a book fair in my school. They had many copies of Ida B and I bought one. I started immediately and couldn't stop. The book pulled my in and I couldn't stop reading from the first page. I was experiencing all the adventures Ida B had. I was talking to the trees and the brook. I was not believing that Ida B's mother had cancer and I wasn't listening to Paulie T.

Ida B is a GREAT book. Read it and you will treasure the book for life as you read it to your children and they read it to their children. Ida B will be passed on in generations and nobody would forget it!!

This book (Ida B) is soo wonderful to read. I stayed up very late turning the pages of the book. I could relate from it and I underatnd the feelings that Ida B had felt. It was so welcoming and addicting to read that I wanted to read it over and over and over again. The book made me cry and then it made me feel so over whemled with excitement! It was a great expeirence to discover the life of Ida B. I am 12 years old and I admire katherine Hannigan's writting!

This is a beautiful book! An upclose and personal walk with a gutsy and lovable young girl. Reading the book, I walked hand in hand with Ida B through her ever changing world of talkative trees, family dynamics and remarkable perseverance.

I resounded deeply with her quirky and viable love of Nature as well as her unique way of seeing the world, mostly her own.

An absolutely wonderful read. I recommend it highly. I am 37 and have given this book as a gift to both my adult friends as well as the children in my life. Do not miss it.
