This book was a great read! I'm a junior in high school but I was still able to easily follow Bragg's complex style of writing. He's truly mastered his art. |

This book was awful! I would not recomend this book to any one at any age because it is boring. It can not hold your attention, and the book can't stay on one subject. what made it so hard to follow was that he jumps from past to present. Our whole high school is forced to read this over the summer and no one has said any thing good about it. I don't know how our school and little town could want to read this book that kind of stuff doesn't happen around here. NO ONE CARES!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Held your interest from beginninmg to end. He never wavered from his love and respect for his mother. Even though he was more educated than his brothers he never looked down on them. His words of love and respect just flowed throughout the book. Looking forward to reading other books by Rick Bragg. |
