I think this was one of the best books I have ever read. I am a freshman in highschool and I'm not really a reading type, but I had to read a book for my English reading class for an outside reading project. I got in trouble the next day and i was given 3 days of in school suspension. I had nothing to do so Ii started reading it. at the beginning I thought it was confusing and boring but after reading 6 chapters I was addicted to it! I finished reading it today. The one flaw though about this book (and we all know it) is that Nancy Farmer waited tot long for the sequel. I love the book it's awesome and thanks for taking the time to read this... :)

I really like this book in a way. I don't believe that cloning is the way to go though. I don't believe that God wanted us to think about cloning in the future. He is the one that put us on this earth and the life that we live is what he chooses so I don't think that we should be in control of that. Other than that it is a really good book with a interesting point to it.

I had to read this book for my 10th grade summer reading. The other two books I read were terrible and I was so glad when I started to read "House of the Scorpion." I can not wait to read this book again!

First time novelist Vaddey Ratner captured my heart and senses in this novel based on her childhood in Cambodia. Her story transcends any news story...
