by Gary R. (bolingbrook, IL) Dare I say sinfully good!
When I received this book it was the day before the blizzard of 2011! 22 inches of snow and then the coldest days of the year! What does that have to do with this, nothing except it was a good time for a little 'Sinning'! This is not a book that requires a lot of deep thought, just very good entertainment, what I needed in the dead of winter! These are the adventures of Lucy Hamilton a.k.a. Sally Sin, former spy turned wife and mother, and her former boss who needs her for one more job. This (if I understand correctly) is the first book of an ongoing series. This is a great intro to the character Sally Sin, a great entertaining read. If you have children you will love Lucy! And even if you don't, read it and like myself you will be waiting for the next book!

by Cheryl D. (Angola, NY) Impossible to classify
This book was an enjoyable read, but it is impossible to fit it into a category. It is a little bit chick lit and somewhat a thriller with a comic edge. I never did figure out whether the heroine was a "good" spy or simply survived through luck. You just have to sit back and enjoy the ride.

by Helen S. (Palm Desert, California) Interesting New Character
Beth McMullen's book, Original Sin, brings a new fascinating character to the pages of page turning reading. This is a new type of female character, mother, successful career person to read about. I look forward to additional adventures with Sally Sin. A couple parts of the book moved slowly and made up for time in the adventures following. I recommend this book for book clubs.

by Diane D. (Cape Elizabeth, ME) Sally Sin.....Suburban Spy!
Although it was a little slow in the beginning, this Sally Sin mystery is a fun frolic through Chick Lit adventure! It's got the everyday Suburban wife/mother involved in intrigue & espionage! There's plot twists & several loose ends that will tempt the reader to come back for more.

by Charla K. Great Escape!
The perfect selection when you are looking to read for pure enjoyment and escape. I am often disappointed by books that feature a former high-powered career turned stay-at-home Mom however Lucy fits the bill perfectly. Lucy is a sassy, enjoyable character who is full of surprises and aside from being a WMOD spy, very relatable. This book should be in everyone's beach bag this summer!

by Jane C. (Brighton, MI) Sally Sin
Three words on the cover tell the story. WIFE. MOTHER. SPY. A young mother, with her three year old chid, moves day to day in a time of wondering what the next minute will bring. As a debut novel, the author takes us through the streets of San Francisco and the world in the somethimes funny and sometimes worrisome life of this family. The book keeps you one dge of your seat and is hard to put down. Near the end of the book Sally says, "This is not a game. At the end of the day, it is about survival." She is right.
A bold, mesmerizing novel about the woman known as "Typhoid Mary," the first known healthy carrier of typhoid fever in the burgeoning metropolis of early twentieth century New York.
Z, the novel about the life of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald is at points charming and; like another reviewer, I kept thinking of the movie, "Midnight...
