Time travel, alien invasion, romance, and an arctic adventure
This book begins as historical fiction and quickly morphs into a sic-fi adventure/thriller. The story is deftly told with humor and suspense. I plan to read Palma's "Map of Time" very soon too, as I'm sure I will enjoy it.

"...socialite Emma Harlow agrees to marry millionaire..."?? Very amusing! In what universe would she not accept to marry a millionaire?! The book is stupid and badly written. I only read it to honor the person who gave me as a gift.
