I read two of Dave Pelzer's books and I tohught that both were EXCELLENT!!!Dave you are an AMAZING human being and I respect you with all of my heart!!! I never realized what child abuse can do to a person nor did I know how incredible the human spirit can be!!! Dave, your courage has inspired me very much and I love the way you write, you have such skill and grace that it blows me away!!!
I only wish Dave, that you could know how much you mean to me!!!!I also think that its very compelling that you have dedicated your life to help others!!!

Dave I wish you the absolute best that life has to offer and God Bless you!!!

Sincerely
Danielle Miller

I've read A child called it and The lost boy and both books are the saddest books I've ever read. I cried so much. I Love both of the books they are great. Dave I admire you you are such and inspiration.

I read A child called "it" in my reading class. I thought it was so sad and the things that happened made me cry and relize how good my life is. After reading that book, my mother took me to the store and I bought The Lost Boy (which so far is also very amazing). Then a few days later I ordered A man named Dave. I have not yet got to finish the second one (The lost boy) so I have not got to A man named Dave. I hope your life is going good with your wife and son.

Hey,
I am sorry about what happend to you..and it really hurt my feelings the way she treated you

A child called "it" is a powerful book. If a small boy can live dispite a mother who basiclly tried to kill him and a poor excuse of a father that wouldn't help him, Could servive and turn into a wonderful man who dispite his childhood speaks out to help others. This is proof that we all can or are capable of over coming any obstical in ower lives......past present or future.
