I LOVED this book. I love it because I love the way she changes through her life as she changes and improves the house. I'm fifteen and it is very hard for me to find a book that will fill my mature and intellectual needs and Under The Tuscan Sun does that. Thanks Frances!

I thought this book was good if you did not want something exciting. It was pleasant and wonderful for light reading. I thought it was a great a great book overall. I wish It wouldn't have ended! I can't wait to go get the sequel. It was one of those books that when you get into them you love them!

Amazingly BORING! Should on my high school reading list (i'm reading it for english 12R) the book has no substance, no story, no plot

This was the best book I have ever read. I traveled through Italy three years ago and did not want to come home. Frances Mayes style of writing made me feel like I was sitting at the table with her. It was a wonderful book and I was disappointed when I finished the last page. I wish that it could have gone on and on. Fortunately, I ran out and bought the sequel - Bella Tuscany. I recommend that you run (not walk) to your nearest bookstore and purchase both books. They will transport you to Italy.
