it was an extreeeeemly gripping story....i simply loved it!I can't wait for the next 1...the half blood prince tied alot of why voldomort existed till now together! i feel bad for dumbledore though!!

I just finished the book last night and it put a huge damper on my entire fun-filled weekend! How could you kill off <<edited for plot spoiler content>>. I just can't believe it happened...I'm looking for something pretty amazing next book to make up for that bad decision!

J.K Rowling pretty much rook the script out of Lord Of THe Rings, people shouldn't get execited about the series OVER RATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ):<(

I LOVED the fifth installment of this series! I can't wait until July 2005 when the next book comes out or This fall when the 4th movie comes out.

I finished the book like ages ago. I came across this site yesterday as I was reading your reviews of book, I found it very interesting and amusing that some readers would rate this book very low for reasons such as: "there are too many characters that I dont know or too many people die", or "there isn't a plot till the end". For those who couldnt follow with all the characters in the book, I susgest them read book 3 and 4 before reading book 5. It is really unfair a comment if you just read one book and the series and comment about that book or the whole series. You're supposed to follow the story line from book 1!!!! You would possibly know who on earth is Moody Mad Eye and who on earth is Sirius - the god father if you didnt read book 3 or 4! Some of the reviews even criticize Hermione and Fred and George; to me they are all very lively and believable characters. Some can say the Hermione seems to know the answer to every question, that is not true!!! She's simply very bright and logical that is all!!! To me all of the books in the series so far are excellent. The latest book, book 5, is a bit long, however, as the story line is so interesting the readers cannot put the book down until he/she is done. I cant wait to get hold of book 6 and endulge myself yet again the magical world of Harry Potter.

I loved this book. It doesn't seem as if Rowling could continue on producing such wonderful books but she really outdid herself this time. I can't wait for the 6th book to come out in July 2005. Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince!! I'm so excited. Make sure you read the books in order. There is a lot to keep track of. I'd give this book a 1000 rating if possible. Read the book, you'll love it.

I was 10 when I read this book and Im 13 now I also think people will read the book to find out who will die and when you do you'll be sad for that person in this book but overall this book is the best yet! It's the best cause it gives more info about the the main people like Harry and Ron and Hermione. Also that you can relate to what happens like if Harry get's ticked off you can relate to getting ticked off too.
