Amazon sets up $5m fund to overturn California law

Amazon has so far contributed more than $5 million to the More Jobs Not Taxes campaign committee it set up in July (and is currently the sole contributor to). The committee's purpose is to overturn a California law requiring online retailers to collect sales taxes on purchases by state residents.
