Obituary: Barbara Drummond Mead, president of Reading Group Choices

Barbara Drummond Mead, president of Reading Group Choices (readinggroupchoices.com), died on Tuesday. She was 51.

Mead worked as a bookseller and event organizer at McIntyre's Books, Pittsboro, N.C., and Covered Treasures Bookstore, Monument, Colo., before buying Reading Group Choices in 2005 with her husband, Charles Mead.
