Jeffrey Zaslow, author of Gabby, Highest Duty and The Last Lecture dies aged 53

Author Jeffrey Zaslow died in a car accident last week at the age of 53. He was the author of The Girls From Ames: A Story of Women and a Forty-Year Friendship, The Magic Room: A Story About The Love We Wish For Our Daughters and co-author of The Last Lecture (with Randy Pausch), Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope (with Gabrielle Giffords) and Highest Duty (with Captain Chesley B. Sullenberger, III). He is survived by his wife, Detroit television news anchor Sherry Margolis, and their three daughters, Jordan, Alex and Eden.
