Connecticut pushes Amazon on sales tax

Connecticut has joined many other cash-strapped states across the country in demanding that Amazon collect sales tax on internet purchases made by residents of the state.
According to the General Assembly's Office of Fiscal Analysis, the state could expect up to $9.4 million a year in additional revenue if remote sellers, including Amazon, complied with the new law.
