A committee of booksellers and librarians will select the 25 books for the inaugural World Book Night in U.S., to be held next April 23.
World Book Night will involve 40,000 people giving away a million copies of 25 titles, which will "celebrate the love that we and readers have for books," says committee member Madeline McIntosh, president of sales, operations and digital at Random House.
