BookBrowse Free Book Offer

How does it work?
For a limited time, BookBrowse is offering a free book to new members as a "thank you" gift for joining BookBrowse. When you purchase a one-year membership to BookBrowse for just $34.95, you'll be given a link to a special secure page where you can choose any book from BookBrowse's extensive gift inventory. The book will be mailed to you within a few days of you joining, and we'll even pay the shipping charge. Please note that this offer is limited to addresses in the USA and Canada.

What else should I know
There are some important restrictions:

• The offer is only available to members with mailing addresses in the USA or Canada.
• New members from other parts of the world will receive a complimentary extra two months on their membership (14 months instead of 12).
• BookBrowse offers one-year and 3-month memberships, but this special offer is only available to members taking out a one-year membership.
• Currently available books are shown on a special page you can preview at any time. We usually only have one copy of each book, so if you see a book you particularly want, don't delay - sign up immediately - because, when you return at a later date it may no longer be available!
• The offer is limited to one book for each 12-month membership purchased, first time members only.

What books are available?
We are offering a selection of excellent recent hardbacks, paperbacks and audio books, ranging in value from $14 to $40. You can see the current selection here. New titles will be constantly added to replenish this list.

Can I pay by check and still get a free book?
Yes you can. Complete the first page of the join form, and on the second page you'll have the option of paying by credit card or by check. When we receive your check we will email you with a special access code so you can choose a book. However, selection will obviously be limited to what is available at the time. Paying by credit card at BookBrowse is highly secure and you will be able to make your book selection straight away - so please consider paying by credit card.

What if I am dissatisfied and want a refund?
We feel confident that you will enjoy your BookBrowse membership, but if you're not entirely satisfied, we offer a money-back guarantee.

Our normal policy is that if you cancel and request a refund any time in the first three months we give you a complete refund. After that we refund any unused time on your membership.

However, to protect ourselves from abuse during the Free Book Offer, our guarantee is as follows:

• If you join as an annual member during the Free Book Offer you can cancel at anytime during the first week and receive a full refund.
• A week after you join, your Free Book will be mailed to you. After this you can cancel and request a refund but we will deduct a shipping and handling charge for the Free Book ($10 for USA residents, $15 for Canadian residents). For example, in the unlikely event that after a month you decide you are dissatisfied with your membership, you can call or email us for a refund, and you will receive a refund of $24.95 ($34.95 less $10) if you are in the USA and $19.95 ($34.95 less $15) if you are in Canada.

I saw a book I wanted but now it's gone, why is this?
The books available are constantly changing as books are chosen by new members and new books are added. The list of available books is updated in real-time, so if you check the availability of a book at the time you start the membership process, the chances are that 2 minutes later when you've completed the membership process your preferred book will still be available - but there is no guarantee.

What if I don't like the book I have chosen?
All book selection decisions are final, so please be careful to select a book you think you will enjoy.

I don't like the book I've received. Can I return it for a full refund or exchange it for another title?
We cannot exchange books, or accept returned books. In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with your BookBrowse membersip, you can contact us for a partial refund as explained above.

I don't live in the US or Canada - why can't I have a book?
Unfortunately, at this time, it is not possible to extend the Free Book Offer to persons outside the USA and Canada. However, any non USA/Canada members signing up during the promotional period will automatically have their membership extended by two months.

I forgot to select the book, and lost the page link. What should I do?
Contact us and we will send you a special temporary code to access the book selection page.

Please note that the Free Book Offer is only valid during the promotional period, is subject to availability and solely at the discretion of BookBrowsers LLC. Limit one claim per new member. Not valid for prior members who are returning after their previous membership lapsed/canceled. Offer good only in the USA and Canada, and is void where prohibited.
