The pace is fast, the evil dark and palpable. Thriller/1st Novel

As action adventure goes, The Traveler is difficult to fault.  It's the first in a planned trilogy that is partly  a psychological thriller with strong sci-fi overtones (which I suspect will become stronger as the series develops), partly a cautionary tale of modern life, but mainly good old escapist fun (think 1984 meets The Matrix).

It's guaranteed to raise the paranoia levels of conspiracy theorists to breaking point, but it also offers an interesting counter to the views of the majority who buy into the convenience of modern day life without thought for where our increasing reliance on computerized everything could lead us!

Selected Reviews
"Powerful, mainstream fiction built on a foundation of cutting-edge technology laced with fantasy and the chilling specter of an all-too-possible social and political reality." - PW Starred Review.

"The pace is fast, the characters intriguing and memorable, the evil dark and palpable, and the genre-bending between fantasy and thriller seamless." - Booklist Starred Review.
