Good Scenes for Movie Version

Were there any passages that seemed to jump out at you as ones that are perfect for a movie version of [i]The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat [i] ?
For example, I can envision the first paragraph on page 58 - Odette admiring the portrait of Brazilian underwear Jesus. I'd like to see the portrait briefly come to life in her daydream with Jesus playing beah volleyball with "His hot biblical friends."

Two that come to mind: any of the "tree"scenes and of course, the wedding of all weddings!

In my mind I keep seeing Odette being carried to the tree she wishes to pass away under, only to find it is the wrong tree and she is going to end up sticking around ... I just think that in a Forrest Gump kind of way that would make a great movie ending.

The ghosts at Odette's bed in the hospital. Everyone confessing to Odette also in the hospital I agree about the tree scene. The diner in general. I believe this could be a really good film with the right actors and screenplay.

I would be waiting for the wedding scene if I went to see the movie. I found it to be very funny.

I like the scene at the beginning where Odette is dealing with her hot flash. That really had me laughing out loud.
