When and where does your book club meet? Please share your thoughts and suggestions in this thread.

We meet on the second Sunday of every other month (i.e. roughly every 8 weeks) at 2 pm. Having a set day/time of the month removes any ambiguity and frees us from having to pick a date for every meeting. Also, having a set day/time makes it easy to schedule vacations and other commitments around the meetings. We rotate the location of our meetings from house to house. Whoever is the host is responsible for providing drinks and light snacks to the group. Because we meet in the middle of the afternoon, nobody expects a full meal, so the hosting duties are fairly easy.

We meet in our local library the last Wednesday evening of each month at 6:00 pm.
