Children's Chapter Book--read circa early 80's.
The kids of a family (2 boys, 2 girls??) get transported from the present (countryside house in England) to the medieval times. They are in a castle... How horrible is it that all I remember is that there is time travel and kids climbing castle ramparts??? Help!

I suppose I could be, but something about it doesn't feel right. I'll have to read that and see if the imagery comes through. I don't remember anything about other "magical" or supernatural things--just the time travel and figuring out how to deal with medieval times. But I'm looking forward to reading Nesbit now.
