The book has a "happy ending." Would you read a sequel if one existed? Why or why not?

Personally, I'm hardly ever one for sequels. They seldom live up to the first book in the series. The exception to that are the Harry Potter books and maybe The Hunger Games. I think it's best left where it finished.

Any other opinions? Are you, in general, a reader of sequels?

I don't normally like sequels either. But I wouldn't mind reading a love story!

I don't usually like sequels but when I finished this book lisag I thought it would be interesting to see what happens to Soo-ja and Yul and Hana (not Min particularly) and if the romance continues. It might be fun to know what happens to Hana also (like the Shanghai Girls sequel). I did like the second book of The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo series better than the first book which I thought was slow

I don't know what I would expect but I would like to find out how everyone continued with their lives.

Imagine how their lives would be in this generation, with N Korea aiming missiles at Seoul and threatening violence against them. I'm not sure revolutionary activists like Yul would dare challenge authority now. Imagine how much more dangerous it is now, how different this story would be. Or would it?
