Do you think Barbara Jean will finally find happiness with Chick, or is she destined for more tough times ahead? How do you foresee their story ending?

I think she will find happiness now with him. Particularly since the stigma of the interracial relationships has softened in today's world. She may face some resistance, but overall I think she'll be happier than she has been in years.

I think that she will finally find true happiness. I think that she went through all of the trials and tribulations and now knows what she wants. I got the idea she would lead a much happier and more relaxed life.

I hope so. I actually think they will be happier now then if they had stayed together many years ago. Times have changed and inter-racial couples are more accepted today so they will have an easier time together without as much opposition. They can just enjoy being together.

They were instantly attracted to each other from the start. Regardless of the racial difference, their home lives were very similar. Barbara Jean and Chick could relate to each other because of the abusive treatment they experienced. It allowed them to understand each other's mindset and needs that abuse brings about. During their separation, they grew up, matured, and gained good and bad life experiences which always helps in a person's outlook and perspective on life. I foresee their story as having a happy ending. After all, they were each other's first true love.

I hope so. They would not have had a happy life had they stayed together when they were younger -- their relationship would not have been accepted and it would have been a hard struggle for them. I think that with society's acceptance of interracial couples and their personal understanding of who they are now , they should be able to have a happy life together.

I am totally committed to believing in their future happiness. I would summarize it as follows: and they lived happily ever after. I am choosing to disregard her alcoholism and his two failed marriages which would not be good signs in the real world.

If not happiness, then piece of mind if the second chance did not work out. Both have learned hard life lessons over the course of their lives and understand that happiness is what you make of the moment.
