RE: Why are children able to see things about adults that adults themselves have trouble seeing?
Because adults have more "baggage" and pre-conceived notions about things, they can tend to filter things through past experience and as they have "always" seen them. It can be much harder for adults to see things as they are since the years can ingrain thoughts and feelings. Children seem to say things as they see it. Sometimes this can be embarrassing or uncomfortable for the adults in their lives, but children are honest in how they assess things.

Children are just so honest in their observations. As jeann as said, it can be embarrassing or uncomfortable because the child doesn't doesn't stop first to consider whether it is socially polite to say it. Quick Reply Please login to post a response.
