Anthony A. Goodman Biography
Dr. Anthony A. Goodman is currently an Adjunct
Professor of Medicine in the Medical Sciences and the Microbiology departments
at Montana State University. He was a general surgeon for nearly thirty years,
specializing in the surgical treatment of cancer. He is the author of numerous
papers in various fields of medicine and surgery and was Visiting Professor of
Surgery at the Christchurch Clinical School of Medicine in New Zealand. He is
the lecturer in a series of 32 video lectures, Understanding Human Anatomy
and Physiology, produced by The Teaching Company.
In the summer of 1982, he visited Rhodes with his
daughter and, while watching the Sound and Light Show on the battlements of the
fortress one night, became fascinated by the conflicts that raged among the
three great monotheisms of the eraJudaism, Christianity and Islam. Over the
next twenty years, he collected articles and historical materials, and
formulated the ideas that led him to write The Shadow of God.
Dr. Goodman lives with his family in Bozeman, Montana.
