Bem Le Hunte Biography
Bem Le Hunte is as cross-cultural as her novel: she was born in India to an Indian mother and English father, grew up in England and, after emigrating to Australia ten years ago, is now an Australian by choice. Her family was the ABC?s choice for the ?Sylvania Waters? real-life TV drama, but the BBC thought differently. An anthropologist turned advertising copywriter, Bem has also worked in the music industry and for Indian Television before turning her hand to fiction.
