Jack Allen Biography
Jack Allen's childhood passion for comic books
evolved into an appreciation of the selfless hero who fights against evil, the
hero who fights for those who can't fight for themselves. Josh McGowan, the
hero of Allen's first book Change of Heart, is an amalgamation of characters
from fiction and real life that he has admired for years.
Allen is a native of Michigan and grew up in the Detroit area, where he still
lives with his new family and their dog Peanut. When he's not writing he might
be out racing around the city in his red sportscar with his wife.
Allen has completed two other books in the Josh McGowan series, An Innocent
Among Them and Widow of Calcutta, as well as Breathe of the
Flesh, a spy story
set in New York during World War II. Currently, he is working on the fourth Josh
McGowan book, The Lennox Conspiracy.
