Jane Langton Biography
Jane Langton studied astronomy at Wellesley College and the University of Michigan and did graduate work in art history at the University of Michigan and Radcliffe College. She won Bouchercon's 2000 Lifetime Achievement Award, and is the author of eighteen mysteries, all starring Homer and Mary Kelly. Most are illustrated with her drawings of the real places where her fictional events happen.
Langton is also the author of a dozen books for young people, including the Newbery Honor Book The Fledgling. She writes, gardens, and carries rocks in Lincoln, Massachusetts.
