Geoffrey F. Miller Biography
Geoffrey F. Miller was born in Cincinnati Ohio in 1965, and got his B.A. in 1987 at Columbia University in New York, double majoring in psychology and biology. He got his Ph.D. at Stanford University in California in 1993 in experimental psychology. After the Ph.D., he worked in England and Germany, at the University of Sussex, University of Nottingham, University College London, London School of Economics, and Max Planck Institute for Psychological Research in Munich. He has published about 40 research papers, as well as the book The Mating Mind: How Sexual Choice Shaped the Evolution of Human Nature, which has been published in British, American, German, Dutch, Italian, Portugese, Japanese, and Finnish. He lives with his partner Rosalind in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They have one daughter together, as well as two children from Rosalind's previous marriage.
