Philip Gourevitch Biography
Philip Gourevitch was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and spent most of his childhood in Middletown, Connecticut. He graduated from Cornell University in 1986 and received a Masters of Fine Arts in fiction from the Writing Program at Columbia University. Gourevitch is a staff writer at The New Yorker and a
contributing editor to the Forward. He has reported from Africa, Asia, and Europe
for a number of magazines, including Granta, Harper's, and The New
York Review of Books. His books include We Wish to Inform You that Tomorrow We Will Be Killed with Our Families, The Ballad of Abu Ghraib, and Cold Case.He lives in New York City with his wife.
