Of course, Anthony Stalbridge couldn't possibly have had romantic intentions. Amanda Quick Author Biography

Jayne Ann Krentz was born March 28, 1948 in Cobb, California. She earned a B.A. in History from the University of California at Santa Cruz and went on to obtain a Masters degree in Library Science from San Jose State University in California. Before she began writing full time she worked as a librarian in both academic and corporate libraries

She sold her first book, Gentle Pirate, in 1979, and has gone on to publish over 120 other romance novels (over thirty of which have been New York Times bestsellers). She has written under seven different pseudonyms, but currently publishes under three: As Jayne Ann Krentz (her married name) she writes contemporary romantic-suspense; she uses Amanda Quick for her novels of historical romantic-suspense; and Jayne...
