Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child have written more than a dozen novels together, including the bestselling novels The Relic, Mount Dragon, Reliquary, and Riptide. Lincoln Child is also the author of four other novels, including Utopia and Terminal Freeze . He was born in Westport, Connecticut, which he still calls his hometown (despite the fact that he left the place before he reached his first birthday and now only goes back for weekends).
